New Google Ad Manager

It’s seems as if Google is just releasing update after update and product after product laterly. Just the other day Google just released their new Google Ad Manager. I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks pretty cool.

Basically what Google Ad Manager is, is a tool to allow you to manage your own ads on your website. Let me give you an example. Let’s say you sell ads on your site. The person pays you and you log into Google Ad Manager to place the ad. Google does all the ad serving. It’s actually pretty slick.

You can find out more info here. Google Ad Manager

If you have an Adsense count already you should see a link for it your account.

Here is the coolest part though:

Built-in targeting options: Target ads to your site visitors’ geography, day and time, bandwidth, browser, browser language, operating system, and domain.

Imagine targeting ads for your Mac based software JUST to Mac users…or Geographically targeting consumers in your area if you have a local retail location.

Saves wasted advertising dollars, that’s pretty cool.
